We're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead our sales strategy, grow our customer base, and expand our presence in the market.

Position Overview:

As the VP of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Carly's growth by leading and executing sales strategies that align with our mission. You will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities, building a high-performance sales team, and establishing lasting relationships with key stakeholders in the automotive industry. This role requires a deep understanding of both the automotive market and tech-driven sales models.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Leadership:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share for Carly.
  2. Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  3. Establish and track KPIs to monitor sales performance and team effectiveness.
  4. Collaborate closely with the executive team to align sales efforts with business objectives.

Market Expansion:

  1. Identify new market opportunities and channels for expansion within the automotive space.
  2. Leverage industry relationships and partnerships to grow Carly's presence in key regions and verticals.
  3. Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and consumer behavior to adjust strategies and stay competitive.

Team Development & Management:

  1. Recruit, hire, and train top-tier sales talent for both direct and indirect sales channels all across KSA.
  2. Foster a positive, results-driven sales culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  3. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development for sales team members to enhance performance.
  4. Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management to ensure alignment with revenue goals.
  5. Use data-driven insights to assess sales performance, identify bottlenecks, and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Report directly to the CEO with regular updates on sales activities, performance metrics, and future opportunities.

Customer & Partner Relations:

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the automotive industry.
  2. Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the buying and selling journey.
  3. Identify opportunities for product and service enhancements based on customer feedback.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience (8+ years) in senior sales roles, ideally in the automotive, e-commerce, or tech industry.
  2. Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies for fast-growing startups.
  3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
  4. Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  5. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Data-driven mindset, with experience leveraging CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
  7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  8. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
