We're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead our sales strategy, grow our customer base, and expand our presence in the market.
Position Overview:
As the VP of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Carly's growth by leading and executing sales strategies that align with our mission. You will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities, building a high-performance sales team, and establishing lasting relationships with key stakeholders in the automotive industry. This role requires a deep understanding of both the automotive market and tech-driven sales models.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share for Carly.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Establish and track KPIs to monitor sales performance and team effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with the executive team to align sales efforts with business objectives.
Market Expansion:
- Identify new market opportunities and channels for expansion within the automotive space.
- Leverage industry relationships and partnerships to grow Carly's presence in key regions and verticals.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and consumer behavior to adjust strategies and stay competitive.
Team Development & Management:
- Recruit, hire, and train top-tier sales talent for both direct and indirect sales channels all across KSA.
- Foster a positive, results-driven sales culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development for sales team members to enhance performance.
- Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management to ensure alignment with revenue goals.
- Use data-driven insights to assess sales performance, identify bottlenecks, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Report directly to the CEO with regular updates on sales activities, performance metrics, and future opportunities.
Customer & Partner Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the automotive industry.
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the buying and selling journey.
- Identify opportunities for product and service enhancements based on customer feedback.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (8+ years) in senior sales roles, ideally in the automotive, e-commerce, or tech industry.
- Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies for fast-growing startups.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and market expansion.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Data-driven mindset, with experience leveraging CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
