**Major Accountabilities**
- Security System Maintenance and Upgrades: Ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of security systems.
- Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Management: Identifying and assessing security risks, conducting vulnerability scans, and developing mitigation strategies.
- Incident Response and Investigation: Leading incident response activities, investigating security breaches, and implementing corrective actions.
- Security Policy and Procedure Development: Contributing to the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with cross-functional teams and effectively communicating security-related information.
- Training and Awareness: Providing training programs to educate employees on security best practices.
- Research and Innovation: Staying updated with the latest security technologies and trends to enhance security measures.
- Compliance and Audit: Ensuring security systems comply with regulations and participating in audits.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining comprehensive documentation and preparing reports on security activities.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Highly desirable certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH.
- Technical Expertise:

- Minimum of [5] years of experience in technical security system engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency in access control, video surveillance, IDS, and alarm systems.
- Knowledge of firewalls, antivirus software, encryption methods, network protocols, and vulnerability assessment tools.
- Familiarity with physical security systems like CCTV cameras, biometric access, and perimeter security.
- Successful implementation and management of security systems in complex environments.
- Conducting risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
- Knowledge of security best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
