**Job Description Summary**: Customer facing staff responsible for setting the right deal strategies, creating customer relationships and creating opportunities when possible. Leading bid management and working with all stakeholders to drive the right solutions. Guided by commercial practices and policies that may be shaped by the role. Has significant control/influence over commercial priorities. There is moderate autonomy within the role to discuss Commercial arrangements. High levels of Commercial judgement are required to achieve outcomes required and strong technical knowledge in the industry
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Leads bid management activities in KSA/Bahrain and ensures coordination between all stakeholders
- Accountable for AC Systems order intake, CCM, and DP. Drives customer relationship and the commercial strategy for AC Systems.
- Defines the strategy for preparation, submission, and negotiation of winning proposals
- Leads pricing and preparation of the commercial offers
- Leads the negotiations of the bid
- Support spec-in initiatives in RO
- Within a geographic area responsible for selling solutions, or projects
- Has in-depth knowledge of best practices within the industry and has working knowledge of competition with the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions. Able to work with multiple stake holders in parallel while driving everyone towards a desired outcome.
- Project may range in value and must adhere to Policy 5 process requirements. Strong persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
**Required Qualifications**
- This role requires vast experience in the Bid Management and technical Sales in the T&D industry
- In depth knowledge and previous experience Grid HV Substations with regional utilities and IPP/IWPP developers
- Ability to manage multiple bids in parallel and lead bid managers to successful outcomes
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the relevant field required
**Desired Characteristics**
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
- Fluent speaker in Arabic and English
- Willing to travel 40% of the time (if required)
