**2. JOB PURPOSE**:
Develop, implement, and manage the CSR strategy initiatives of ACWA Power across borders and successfully lead the key Country-level stakeholders to promote and elevate the social brand of the company. Fostering the growth of the company’s social brand on a global scale.

**4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
Description

CSR Strategy Ownership
- Enhance and manage the Sustainability and CSR strategy to fit the goals of the company.
- Develop and be the custodian of the CSR management system.
- Coordinates the implementation of social responsibility strategy and management plans.
- Coordinates and conducts field assessments and reviews of social responsibility activities to ensure all operational activities are consistent with the needs of the organization, requirements of governmental regulatory agencies, and international best practice.
- Elevating the company’s contribution to the SDG’s, Saudi Vision 2030, etc.

Stakeholder and Community Management
- Elevating Community engagement to a maturity level, via supporting the sustainable growth withing the communities we are present in. To support this, the role will have to partner with relevant functions (i.e., CPCCO, Central Procurement, Local Content, etc.) to create joint initiatives to promote socio-economic growth in the communities.
- Champion the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Community Management System
- Liaises with Assets and group level departments on social responsibility matters.
- Serve as the CSR representative and be the focal point of the international community on any communications related to the socio-economic contribution of the ACWA Power.
- Maintaining intranet page and monthly newsletter with CSR Related communications
- Periodic review and liaison with community representative focal points at site level and with sustainability professionals within each affiliate organisation.
- Regular liaison and coordination with other specific departments (such as Corporate Communications, Environment) to share information seek support and coordinate joint activities where appropriate.

Social Investment Management
- Strategize, develop, implement, and manage sound long term social investment initiatives for the community’s that ACWA Power is present in.
- Raise the funds and negotiate with relevant authorities to get the support for the initiatives of the company.
- Create sound impact assessment reports to monitor the performance of the initiatives.

Social Grievance Management
- Assess and manage the engagement around issues with a tailor fit approach per challenges encountered.
- Work closed with the Public Relation team to convey the right message across the organization and its external stakeholders.
- Identify and manager potential risks on a community level, and partner with the Risk Management team to successfully mitigate any potential challenges.

Other Accountabilities
- Support the budgeting and administrative activities of the function.
- Conducting Audits, training, and support

5. COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

- CRSSO function, CLO, Central Procurement, CPPCO, Local Content, Portfolio Management, other Regional Offices

- NGO’s, International Government bodies, Suppliers, and other project partners on national level social investment projects

7. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

- Relevant bachelor’s degree with relation to Social Science
- Preferred: Any relevant certification related to Impact Assessment, Design Thinking, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

- 12+ years of relevant experience, 5 years of which are in core CSR.
- Ability to interpret on a broad basis the principles, theories, and concepts of international best practice in social performance.
- Excellent interpersonal, and facilitation skills, and the ability to communicate site level social responsibility to a corporate audience, and to interpret corporate level policies for site level implementation.
- Ability to engage, and delivery compelling talks to a wider audience.
- Knowledge of the ISO 26000 CSR Standard, SE1000, Global Reporting Initiatives for Sustainability Reporting, SDG Reporting, etc.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Native Arabic Speaker with Fluency in English
