Senior Nursing Excellence Facilitator

We have a unique opportunity for a **Senior Nursing Excellence Facilitator** in a cardiac referral center in Saudi Arabia. The hospital provides high-acuity tertiary-care cardiac services for both adult and pediatric patients, including congenital heart diseases; cardiac catheterization lab; and heart transplants.
The center is internationally recognized and employs staff from around the world.
**Job Summary**:
The Ministry of Defence Health Services (MODHS) is undergoing a healthcare service transformation, with the goal being to position MODHS as the best healthcare provider in the country. In Nursing this will be achieved primarily through the adoption of Magnet principles. The Senior Nursing Excellence Facilitator will help drive and deliver required changes in collaboration with other disciplines and stakeholders.
Supports the Nursing Department and leadership through the promotion of nursing quality, patient safety and performance improvement services, programs and strategies, in accordance with MODHS, organization and Nursing Administration Strategic Plans.
Provides leadership in clinical areas in meeting targets/deliverables under their expertise, and/or as per delegated/assigned.
Supports Nursing Administration in the overall collaborative Strategic Plan through transformational leadership.

**Minimum Requirements**:
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (western standard), Master's Degree preferred.
- At least one healthcare certification or international equivalent certificate in Quality, Patient Safety, Risk Management or Project Management.
- Evidence of continuing professional and personal development, including development as a leader and in quality.
- Current licensure (RN) with a nursing governing body from the employee’s country of origin.- BLS certification
- Six (6) years progressive nursing experience, inclusive of the following:
- Two (2+) years nursing leadership/management experience - preferred
- Active participation in or have co-led/led an improvement project or initiative.
- Participation in accreditation processes as a nurse leader (e.g. JCI, CBAHI)
- Magnet journey experience preferred

- Demonstrates knowledge of clinical integration of evidence-based practice and standard of care (Clinical Decision Making).
- Demonstrates high level analytical and problem-solving skills (Critical Thinking).
- Demonstrates effective conflict management skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively and strategically in a multicultural team environment with all levels of healthcare professionals, technical and administrative staff.
- Capacity to create and maintain positive experiences, develop effective partnerships, engaging with the Hospital Director, senior executives, various internal and external stakeholders and patients and their families in a healthcare setting.

- Facilitates team building.

- Works in a timely manner while meeting deadlines.
