**Take ownership for business growth**

As Sales Leader, you will provide leadership to your team to shape and develop operational plans to meet business needs. You will use your business understanding to develop successful market strategies for execution. You will deliver results for key industry players and challenges through innovation, strategic solutions and building relationships.

As a Sales Leader, you will be responsible for:

- Leading and coaching a region sales team to help improve sales strategy, relationship development and customer focus
- Providing regular updates of your projects' growth plan status and key sales through operational metrics/reporting
- Developing project strategies to scope, plan and successfully deliver winning proposals for customers
- Building regional sales organizations to collaborate and work together to maximize scope on cross-regional projects.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to create and deliver winning global strategies to grow our business
- Acquiring an understanding of customers strategic needs, goals and objectives to consistently translate it into effective advice toward customer solutions
- Influencing the FEED stages of projects to ensure Baker Hughes is best positioned as the sole solution
- Shaping influential relationships with global project customers to develop strategies identifying potential projects at the earliest opportunity

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a related Bachelors’ Degree and demonstrate equivalent knowledge and professional experience
- Have minimum 10 years of experience in oil field industry especially chemical sales and technical experience
- Demonstrate considerable experience in structuring and closing large, greenfield projects in the Energy industry
- Show expertise in a Commercial or Sales role, with an emphasis on customer interface and relationship building
- Demonstrate experience of leading, mentoring and motivating global teams to deliver multiple, successful customer projects
- Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
- Show good, general technical knowledge of energy technology products and services, alongside customer needs and requirements
- Have experience in developing sales strategy and proactively growing business
- Be able to travel internationally (up to 50% travel required)
