Assistant Head, Hospital and Residential Maintenance

Manages maintenance activities for designated areas. Assists with management of Department. Assumes delegated administrative responsibilities.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Provides administrative support to the Department Head on daily operational activities. Coordinates work of the department sections. Assists with department planning and Performs assigned projects.
- Assists Department’s Head with preparation, establishment and implementation of departmental policies and procedures and recommends disciplinary actions.
- Assists in the preparation of annual operating budget for all assigned services/ functions, monitors and keeps expenditures within budget.
- Directs supervisors in maintenance and repairs of all Hospital facilities and associated residential buildings, as required.
- Inspects all maintenance work in-progress and after completion. Ensures adherence to Hospital and departmental standards. Submits reports to Department’s Head.
- Directs technical inspections teams. Reviews preventive maintenance problems and requirements. Recommends required action.
- Evaluates requirements for all materials required for projects and maintenance. Evaluates equipment and makes recommendations for purchase and use.
- Evaluates employee performance, Counsel Employees, Takes remedial action to correct performance deficiencies.
- Acts as department head in his absence or as assigned.
- Follows all prescribed safety procedures.

**Education**:
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.

**Experience Required**:
Five (5) years of related experience including two (2) years in a supervisory capacity with Master’s or seven (7) years of similar requirements with Bachelor’s degree is required.

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
- Saudi Driver’s license.
- Saudi National only.
