Senior Partner Technology Strategist

As a Partner Technology Strategist (PTS), you will be the driving force behind our **Channel**/**Services Partners**' digital transformation journey. Leveraging your technical expertise and cloud knowledge, you will align our partners' technology roadmap with Microsoft's solutions and priorities. By doing so, you will empower our partners to deliver exceptional ROI to their customers while driving business growth and innovation.
**Responsibilities**:
- Cloud Strategy Alignment
Serve as the technical owner of our partners' business solutions, collaborating closely with stakeholders to align their technology roadmap with Microsoft's cloud offerings. This includes understanding partners' business objectives, providing strategic guidance, and helping them leverage the full potential of the Microsoft cloud to achieve their goals.
- Cloud Transformation Leadership
Lead our partners through the complex process of cloud transformation, adopting a Technical Sales Challenger mindset to challenge conventional thinking. You will champion the adoption of cutting-edge cloud technologies, accelerate time to market, and identify new business opportunities that drive our partners' success.
- Innovation and Tech Intensity
Embrace a culture of innovation and inspire our partners to adopt a tech-intensive mindset. Stay at the forefront of emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices. By providing thought leadership and encouraging experimentation, you will help our partners differentiate themselves in the market and drive transformative change.
- Relationship Building
Cultivate strong relationships with partners, acting as a trusted advisor to CTOs, executives, and technical teams. Foster collaboration, trust, and open communication channels to ensure seamless alignment between our partners and Microsoft. By driving joint success and achieving shared business objectives, you will establish long-lasting partnerships.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field.
- 8+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experience
- Strategy Formulation and Communication Skills: Proven ability in strategy formulation, with a strong understanding of business strategies and the ability to lead the adoption of technologies by developing strategic, long-term visions for partners. Skilled in resolving technical blockers and driving envisioning of new and groundbreaking capabilities in technology roadmaps. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Technical Expertise: 8-10+ years of related experience in technology services development, with a deep understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, and emerging cloud trends like generative AI. Strong background and in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, with a focus on Microsoft's cloud offerings (Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365). Experience in cloud architecture, migration, and optimization is highly desirable.
- Leadership and Innovation: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, driving business growth, fostering innovation, and navigating complex organizational landscapes. Passion for exploring emerging cloud technologies and driving transformative change. Ability to drive decisions collaboratively, resolve conflicts, and ensure follow-through.
- Trusted Advisor: Proven track record in providing strategic technology guidance and advisory services to partners (preferred) or customers. Ability to align technology solutions with business goals, develop technology roadmaps, and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Thought Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Drive innovation to meet future market demand and maximize partner impact. Establish long-term engagement to influence large partners in adopting Microsoft Technologies. Proven track record of developing deep technical relationships with CXOs and building executive relations with highly strategic partners.
- Partner Enablement: Experience in offering guidance to the broader technical team to ensure that technical pre-sales, deployment, and consumption are part of solution development efforts; ability to coaches the partner on building resilience to technical issues and dealing with competition.
- Business Acumen: Knowledge and ability to develop, use, and/or discuss Microsoft products and articulate the value proposition of Microsoft Cloud services to partners. Understanding of business processes and the ability to identify opportunities where technology can drive business value. Experience in translating technical concepts into business benefits.
- Collaborative Mindset: Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and engage in productive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
