you will ensure that the company's financial data is collected systematically, accurately booked, classified, allocated to respective projects, and reported on a timely basis.
- Main Responsibilities:

- Collect all financial documents and information relating to both projects and non-projects.
- Verify and approve transactions before maintaining proper bookkeeping.
- Invoice projects according to contracts and purchase orders, and follow up on payments.
- Verify supplier purchase orders, book invoices, obtain approvals and process payments.
- Verify and submit staff expense claims for approval.
- Handle petty cash for administration, projects, and drivers, and prepare reports and bookings.
- Maintain a bank book with all bank transactions and update it on a daily basis.
- Book, allocate, and classify all revenue, cost, and overhead according to IFRS and company requirements.
- Conduct timely reconciliations on supplier and client accounts, bank, and general ledgers.
- Prepare books of accounts up to trial balance, book monthly closing entries, and prepare supporting schedules for the balance sheet and income statement.
- Ensure monthly submission and approval of timesheets from all department heads, and report any redundancy in time sheeting.
- Produce periodical/on-demand reports for accounts payable, receivables, and project costing.
- Support procurement functions and coordinate with purchase and project managers.
- Support the finance manager for month-end closing procedures, reporting, operational, and other ad hoc tasks.
- Coordinate with external tax consultants for VAT and other tax filing requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of forecasts and cash flow projections.

**Requirements**:

- Strong technical knowledge in financial and cost accounting
- Good understanding of IFRS
- Expert in using Excel
- Good commercial acumen
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Logical with great attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable, able to perform well in different situations
- A team player
- Proficient in Arabic, both speaking and writing - preferred
- Previous work experience in Saudi Arabia
- Strong work ethic
- Self-motivated and proactive
- "Can-do" attitude
- At least 5-7 years of experience working as an Accountant
