The Senior Consultant will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and certification of an ISO 41001:2018 compliant Facility Management System (FMS) across Client´s various locations. This role requires a highly experienced and technically knowledgeable consultant with deep expertise in workplace and facility management principles, ISO 41001 standards, fire safety, security, risk management, process improvement, and training.
The project will last 10 months.
The Senior Consultant will work closely with the Project Manager and Client´s internal teams to provide expert guidance, develop key deliverables, conduct training, and ensure the successful implementation and certification of the FMS. This role is essential for ensuring that Client achieves its objectives of optimizing facility operations, enhancing service delivery, and aligning facility management with its strategic goals.
This role requires a highly organized and experienced Senior Consultant with a strong understanding of workplace and facilities management (soft and hard services), occupational health, safety and environmental, fire safety, security, ISO standards, risk management, and process improvement methodologies.
**Past Experiences**:
Ø Extensive experience in consulting on and implementing ISO management system standards, with a strong focus on ISO 41001:2018.
Ø Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering training programs related to ISO standards and facility management.
Ø Deep understanding of facility management best practices, processes, and technologies.
Ø Strong understanding of risk management methodologies (e.g., ISO 31000) and experience conducting complex risk assessments and opportunity analysis.
Ø Proven ability to conduct gap analyses, develop action plans, and support organizations in achieving certification.
Ø Strong understanding of fire safety and emergency response management within large offices and manufacturing facilities.
Ø Good understanding of security practices and arrangements within facilities management.
Ø Experience in conducting internal audits and providing guidance on corrective actions.
Ø Experience working with diverse teams and managing stakeholders at various levels.
Ø Experience with LEED certification requirements and their integration within management systems is a significant advantage.
Ø Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
**Key Responsibilities in the Project**:
Ø Provide expert guidance and support to the Project Manager and Client's internal teams on all aspects of the ISO 41001 implementation project.
Ø Conduct gap analyses of existing facility management practices against ISO 41001 requirements.
Ø Develop key FMS documentation, including policies, procedures, processes, and forms, ensuring compliance with ISO 41001:2018.
Ø Conduct context analysis, interested parties analysis, and risk/opportunity analysis in line with ISO 31000.
Ø Support the development of FM Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitoring mechanisms.
Ø Develop and deliver comprehensive ISO 41001 awareness training and specialized training on specific FMS processes.
Ø Support the development and implementation of risk and opportunity procedures, including conducting on-site risk assessments.
Ø Provide guidance on the integration of LEED certification requirements within the FMS.
Ø Support the planning and execution of internal audits and assist in closing out identified nonconformities.
Ø Provide expert advice on management review inputs and outputs.
Ø Support the organization during external certification audits, addressing any non-conformities raised by the auditors.
Ø Conduct international benchmark analyses to identify best practices and provide recommendations for improvement.
Ø Contribute to the development of the FM strategy, objectives, and roadmap.
Ø Review existing management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and advise on integration with the new FMS.
Ø Collaborate and support day to day activities with the on-site consultants.
**Requirements**:
**Knowledge and Background**:
Ø Proven knowledge of facilities management (over 10 years).
Ø Proven background in implementing facilities management improvement projects within GCC or similar regions.
Ø Advanced knowledge of ISO 41001 Facilities Management.
Ø Knowledge of health, safety and environment related to facility management (including fire safety, security and ISO 45001 / 14001 management systems).
Ø Proficiency in facilities management software and tools.
Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ø ISO 41001 Lead Auditor or Implementer certification is essential.
**Certifications & Other Qualifications**:
Ø Internationally recognized bachelor’s degree in facilities management or related field. This foundation provides the necessary knowledge to navigate complex FM and HSE challenges.
