Business Development Manager

Has overall sales responsibility for customer relationships and
performance of an assigned customer portfolio in a large cluster/large
geographical area.
Objectives:
- Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer ratings.-
- Maintain positive professional relationships with clients.-
- Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met.-
- Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions.-
- Promote the company’s products or services to prospective clients.-
- Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders.-
- Build solutions and value proposition to potential customers.-
- Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company’s products or services.**Skills**:
- building solutions for local, regional, and global customers. Expertise in the following areas will be highly valued.
- Strong negotiator.
- Ability to understand customer pains and needs.
- Build top class solutions using our current product offering as base to close the business.
- Ability to build trustworthy relationships with key stakeholders within the customers’ organization and leverage internal relationships to expand business opportunities for Maersk.
- Create and execute a well-defined strategy for his/her customers portfolio and prospects.
- Plan and execute meeting with customers, with and efficient pipeline management through our CRM.
- Positive, adaptable, fast learner, strong sense of urgency, team player, winning mentality, results oriented, growth mindset.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or master's degree in related field.
- +5 years of experience in commercial sales, chemical, logistics. Commercial sales, global contracts, long and short cycle sales.
