Thales has been selected to supply major electronic systems for air defence and the Group also supplied communication and optronic systems for the Army, the Saudi Arabia National Guards and the Air Force.
- Channel Account manager
- The Channel Manager will be responsible for managing and developing the channel and channel sales of the entire Encryption portfolio in the overall region. He will also be expected to interact with end-users along with partners every time required in order to fast track channel sales development. The role will include SMB accounts across the given territory.
- A week in the life of a Channel Sales Manager:
- Manage the existing Distributor, Reseller and Tech-partners channels
- Develop the channel by recruiting the relevant new partners
- Develop channel sales both Enterprise and SMB with the relevant channels and strategy
- Attend calls and customer meetings along with partners every time required in order to fast-track channel sales development
- Deliver sales trainings on a regular basis remotely and/or on site to keep developing the channel’s awareness of our fast evolving offering and its positioning
- Create and maintain an overall territory plan as well as business plans with distributors and focus partners
- Maintain accurate partner forecasts
- Maintain and develop customer prospecting tools for partners
- Work closely with the channel marketing team in order to design and implement channel marketing campaigns
- Work closely with the channel programme team in order to roll out and ensure compliance with the partner programme
- Work with the business development team in order to define and roll out channel sales initiatives
- Attend internal trainings to develop relevant knowledge and skills
- Other duties as assigned
- Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- To succeed at this job, you must have:
- Good understanding of selling IT Security solutions via System Integrators or Channel Partners
- IT Security experience regionally for a minimum of 5 years
- The channel manager will manage the channel partners and distributors in Saudi and Levant region.
- Experience in Saudi Arabia is very essential
- Excellent organizational and communications skills
- Team player with high level of drive
- Must be fluent in English & Arabic

- You must have a Bachelor degree in related field.
