Persistence Recruitment is collaborating with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) on a transformative Sovereign Fund Culture and Tourism Destination Giga-Project. This initiative aims to revolutionize the tourism and culture sector with a budget of $17 billion USD.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Tenant Collaboration**:

- Develop an in-depth understanding of current and future tenants' POS systems (e.g., TiSSL, Foodics, Micros, Pixel Point).
- Extract critical details from each POS API, covering endpoints, authentication protocols, data formats, and rate limits.
- Communicate technical requirements to tenants, guiding them with automation and integration based on Corporate Finance team's formal requirements.
- Provide technical support to tenants, ensuring a streamlined integration pathway.

**API Integration**:

- Design and develop a robust API tailored for the project's gateway to efficiently receive data from various tenant POS systems.
- Ensure the API supports diverse data formats and structures from different POS systems, accommodating current and future needs.
- Implement state-of-the-art security measures, including authentication and authorization protocols, to safeguard data integrity and privacy.
- Implement robust error-handling mechanisms within the API to manage issues like data mismatches or transmission errors.
- Ensure scalability of the API and the gateway infrastructure for future data volumes and additional tenants.
- Utilize the IBM Cloud API Gateway for seamless interfacing with the developed API.
- Monitor API traffic dynamics, enforce rate boundaries, and maintain peak availability and resilience standards.

**Testing & Quality Assurance**:

- Initiate testing routines for every integration, certifying data precision and system robustness.
- Engage tenants actively during the testing cycle, assimilating feedback and instituting requisite refinements.
- Integrate advanced monitoring and logging systems to oversee data transit and intercept potential hitches.

**Onboarding Mechanism for Future Tenants**:

- Design and implement a comprehensive onboarding framework for new tenants joining the project's platform.
- Curate detailed onboarding documentation describing the integration process, ensuring a seamless and standardized experience for every new tenant.

**Modularity and Post-Launch Support**:

- Engineer the integration design with modularity, allowing flexibility to add or remove any POS system or its components in the future.
- Safeguard the ability to retain historical data from any POS system, ensuring data continuity and historical analysis capabilities remain uncompromised.

**Documentation & Training**:

- Draft exhaustive technical guides detailing integration architecture, data trajectories, and bespoke solutions.
- Conduct training sessions for project personnel, ensuring clear comprehension of the revamped integration infrastructure.

**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years in API integration ventures.
- Proficient in IBM Cloud API Gateway or similar.
- Direct hands-on exposure to various POS systems and their APIs is advantageous.
- Proven track record working with cloud architectures and services.

**Technical Acumen**:

- Mastery in API development and integration.
- Understanding of RESTful paradigms, JSON, and XML intricacies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security protocols, OAuth, JWT, and fortified API key authentication.

**Other**:

- Insight into the retail or F&B sectors is a valuable asset.
- Readiness to offer post-project support or advisory services as required.
