Commercial & Sponsorship Director

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement the overall commercial strategy for Golf Saudi, focusing on revenue generation, sponsorship sales, and strategic partnerships.
- Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams to diversify and grow the organization's commercial portfolio.
- Lead sponsorship acquisition efforts by identifying and securing sponsorship opportunities that align with Golf Saudi's brand and strategic objectives.
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements, contracts, and partnerships to maximize value for both Golf Saudi and sponsors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential sponsors, partners, stakeholders, and industry influencers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors, ensuring their needs are met and relationships are nurtured effectively.
- Drive revenue growth through innovative sponsorship packages, activation strategies, and commercial initiatives.
- Develop pricing strategies, proposal materials, and presentations to showcase sponsorship opportunities and secure investment.
- Collaborate with senior management to align commercial objectives with Golf Saudi's overall business strategy and long-term goals.
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and KPIs for the commercial department and monitor performance against targets.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and activation plans that enhance sponsor visibility and engagement.
- Ensure sponsors receive maximum exposure through Golf Saudi's marketing channels, events, and digital platforms.
- Oversee the negotiation, drafting, and management of sponsorship contracts and agreements.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for golf courses, facilities, and services within all clubs.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and deliverables and manage contract renewals and extensions.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for golf courses, facilities, and services within the cluster.
- Lead the sales team in prospecting, acquiring, and retaining corporate and B2B clients, for events, group bookings, and individual golfers.
- Collaborate with the central marketing team to localize campaigns and tailor messaging to target audiences
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and market positioning.
- Develop and manage annual sales budgets, ensuring ROI and cost-effectiveness across the cluster.
- Develop and manage revenue strategy and plan across sales functions.
- Develop the yield strategy across all distribution channels.
- Identify distribution channel's commercial structure across local and international corporate segments, Travel Trade and hospitality.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, and KPIs to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Track and manage productivity across all distribution channels.
- Maintain client relations and ensure long-term partnerships across all channels.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- 14+ years of experience in commercial management, sponsorship sales, or business development, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry.
**Skills and Competencies**:
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and sponsorship sales.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of the golf industry and understanding of sports sponsorship dynamics is advantageous.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are beneficial but not required.
- Leadership experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving strategic objectives.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
