**Project Overview**:
Bechtel is supporting the development of The New Murabba Project Infrastructure, which will be built around the concept of sustainability, featuring green areas and promoting healthy, active lifestyles and community activities. It will feature an iconic museum, a university, an immersive theater, and more than 80 entertainment and culture venues. The project will cover an area of 19 square kilometers and accommodate hundreds of thousands of residents.

The project will offer more than 104,000 residential units, 9,000 hotel rooms, and more than 980,000 sqm of retail space, as well as 1.4 million sqm of office space, 620,000 sqm of leisure assets, and 1.8 million sqm of space dedicated to community facilities.

The New Murabba project will offer a unique living, working and entertainment experience within a 15-minute walking radius and will have its own internal transport system.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implements Contract & Commercial Management Procedures for the administration of assigned Contracts.
- Establishes and maintains direct working relationships with Contractor, Consultant and Customer staff.
- Administers assigned contracts maintaining a continual review of progress and providing management with information regarding projected financial or technical difficulties.
- Coordinates with designated staff on operational activities affecting contractual rights and obligations, contract performance, contract administration and other major matters.
- Administers moderately complex contract changes by negotiating with contractor and customer personnel and obtaining settlement
- Recommends and assists Customer in obtaining approvals in accordance with established procedures and relevant Authorities Matrix.
- Represents customer in contractual discussions of moderate complexity.
- Administers information programs to ensure mutual understanding of contract terms and conditions.
- Supports preparation of periodic status reports for management.
- Supports complex contract formation activities, may lead formation activities of moderate complexity.

**Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other industry related field along with 6+ years of experience OR in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10+ years relevant work experience is required
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, policies and practices.
- Knowledge and/or experience in monitoring Contractor and/or Consultant performance
- Specialized courses or experience in pricing, contract law, negotiations and accounting.
- Working knowledge of engineering/construction industry contracting practices and policies, procedures and work practices.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in administering different contract types, fee arrangements and contract terms.
- Experience in developing and recommending potential solutions to contractual problems to management.
- Previous international experience in the Middle East region is favorable.
