Can you build and develop Arla Foods’ business in Saudi Arabia to realize our ambitious growth plan for the region? Then join us as the Business Development & Strategy Manager and drive the strategic agenda of the largest market in Arla’s International Zone, focusing on building end-to-end winning positions across markets and channels. You will be based at our market head office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with full-line reference to the MENA Head of Business Development & Strategy located in Dubai and dotted line to the VP Managing Director, also based out of Riyadh. As integral part of the KSA Team your day-to-day work will be supporting the Saudi VP in driving and executing the market strategy, as well as supporting in solving commercial issues that require a strong cross-functional business development toolbox.
**Boost and professionalize Arla Foods’ business in Saudi Arabia (KSA)**
Together with, and as a part of the Arla KSA Management team, you will develop and implement market and channel growth strategies, drive partnership projects with local partners and ensure strong strategy execution throughout the organization. We expect you to challenge status quo, add ambition and drive speed and excellence throughout our business in KSA.
You will have significant opportunities to truly impact our business as part of an experienced senior leadership team working on the most critical and ambitious strategic projects in the market. Furthermore, you will become part of the global Strategy & Business Development team, working in close alignment with the MENA and INT strategic direction. Some travel to key locations across the region (incl. regional office in Dubai) is to be expected. The position offers you an excellent opportunity to further build your business development toolbox, to set your mark on Arla Foods’ global expansion plans and to build a strong platform for a future international career in Arla.
**To be successful in this role,**
- You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (e.g. business, economics or engineering)
- You have strong analytical skills, a global strategic mind-set and a full problem solving / business development toolbox that enables you to lead projects independently with limited supervision.
- You are a skilled communicator with a positive attitude and an open mind that makes you comfortable working in an international setting where you cooperate closely with other business areas and stakeholders across cultural differences. You need to have an excellent command of English.
