Job Description: The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and securing strategic partnerships. This role involves market research, lead generation, negotiation, and closing sales deals to achieve company objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitors.
- Generate leads and conduct outreach to potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to close business deals effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure successful delivery of services.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities.
- Track and report on business development performance, including sales targets and KPIs.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and build relationships.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional Marketing and Sales strategies; establishing personal networks; participating in professional act.
- Analyzing data from internal systems and external sources to identify opportunities to improve sales performance.
- Identifying and contacting potential clients to determine their needs and assess their interest in the company’s products or services.
- Ensuring that company products or services are represented accurately in advertising and marketing materials.
- Developing strategies to increase market share by identifying new opportunities in existing markets or developing new markets
- Developing and implementing a strategic plan to achieve specific goals such as increasing revenues or improving customer satisfaction
- Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with vendors, suppliers, partners, and other external parties to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Providing leadership, training, and motivation to the sales team to help them meet their goals.
- Communicating regularly with senior management about the status of projects and issues that could impact performance
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Other scopes of work may require flexibility, willingness, and ability to adapt change at any circumstances.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Years of experience in events business development, sales, or a similar role, at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and sales strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of generating new business and meeting sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media strategies.
- Bilingual is a plus
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
- Ability to build strong, lasting relationships with clients and internal teams.
