National Road Logistics Business Development

We are looking for an experienced National Road Logistics Business Development Manager to take on a challenging and evolving role.
**YOUR ROLE **:As a National Road Logistics Business Development Manager, you will have responsibility and accountability for the continuous Development, growth and profitability of KN Road Logistics Products. Develop and extend the import and export volumes in the product on a determined route. Be the know-how competence center for the Key Account Team and xBU management.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Business growth and development in the sales, support process and providing support at National level - business planning to activities, customer interfacing to account tracking and reporting.
- Business delivery against agreed strategy and business plan.
- Management of RFI’s and RFQ’s.
- Knowledge sharing and engagement to ensure teams are up-to-date in critical information relating to product activities.
- Initiate, develop and implement new traffics, product services, in close collaboration with the Business Fields Air and Sea.
- Regular (weekly or monthly) reporting of the success, pipe line as well as lost opportunities (through Corelog).
- Creating presentations and exchange information material specifically aimed at the named route(s).
- Keeping up-to-date on the developments / opportunity in the internal as well as of our external IT Tools ie. KNLogin & Corelog.
- Manage and maintain own target customer list covering minimum prospect 50 accounts (KAM or non KAM).
- Manage and maintain own client portfolio (+50 clients) with focus on Oil and Gas vertical and design solutions based on individual request form account portfolio.
**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES**:
- Bachelor Degree in Economics, Import/ Export, Logistics, or related fields; Master degree is preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of road logistic and leadership experience in similar role.
- 2 to 5 years of project management experience along with 5 to 10 years of international or regional experience.
- Self-starter and proactive who is able to develop new business from almost 0 “Hunter” characteristics rather than “farmer”.
- Strong customer and commercial focus with high Analytical skills
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills; Arabic is nice to have.
