**Sales Engineer Job Description**
**Summary**:
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for the sales of UIT Dripline Products plus the other irrigation products which will be added to the company in the future. The Sales Engineer (SE) Must be able to lead the business with an entrepreneurial spirit, have a passion for continuous learning, and deliver results to gain considerable market share. Should be self-driven, show creativity, customer-oriented, driven to success in a fast-paced environment. Need to proof strong leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills plus having strong potential for future management assignments.
**Responsibilities**:
1- Develop a Sales Plan with comprehensive sales, marketing and promotional tools to educate and generate products awareness for each segment and channels.
2- Develop in-depth knowledge of competitive products, market share, positioning and pricing.
3- Develop and execute strategies across customer segments (landscaping & Agriculture)
4- Optimize the product portfolio (UIT Dripline Products) to maximize success in KSA market.
5- Achieve exceptional sales and market share growth for the assigned areas (KSA market).
6- Analyze and dissect the market as it relates to market share, presentation and growth opportunities and develop an annual strategic plan to meet sales targets and company objectives.
7- Complete detailed project management and secure high value projects/sales for UIT Products.
8- Educate and influence consultants & customers to use UIT products for Landscaping and Agriculture projects, demonstrate its benefits and features over the competitors.
9- Work closely and follow up all the projects with the local contractors and make sure that UIT Products is their preference to order their products.
10-Develop and update a complete database for all customers and their activities/projects (in the past and currently).
11-Differentiate UIT products from its competitions by providing superior customer service & aggressive call coverage cycles.
12-Capability to become an accomplished leader that consistently achieve results and develops creative, customer-focused solutions to accelerate growth.
13-Develop a weekly & monthly report (format to be discussed and approved), which will include the following:
A. Market situation in general.
B. Sales numbers year to date plus the forecast for the next month.
C. Competitor’s situation and activities in each market segment.
D. Action Steps for next month (Who & When).
E. Needs to achieve sales target.
**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications:
- BSc in Agriculture or Irrigation Degree.
- Minimum 5+ years successful sales experience in irrigation industry in KSA.
- Computer knowledge: word processing spreadsheets, presentations.
- Self-motivated, team player, results oriented and excellent communication skills, written and oral (Arabi & English).
- Living in KSA.
- Willing to travel up to 50% of work schedule inside KSA.
- Strong negotiating skills and ability to sell to large accounts.
- Ability to communicate effectively and credibly at all levels in organizations.
