We are looking for a dynamic Project-Based Events Technical Director for our growing team in Riyadh.

**Title**: Events Technical Director

**Reports to**: Regional Director of Events

**Office**:Riyadh, KSA

**KEY ATTRIBUTES | QUALIFICATIONS**
- BA/BS degree in Events, Marketing, hospitality or related field
- Minimum 3-4 years relevant experience in technical direction, event production or event management
- Knowledge of the GCC markets with key insights into the luxury sector is an advantage.
- Willing to travel to different events location as needed
- Flexible with the working hours to ensure all aspects are running smoothly
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong client facing, teamwork, coordination and project management skills
- Excellent computer, technical, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm while dealing with last-minute changes and unexpected turn of events
- Positive attitude / strong work ethic and problem solving skills
- Go-getter / top-notch negotiation abilities to achieve great deals
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent decision-making skills with attention to details even under pressure
- Quality monitoring skills to make improvements and corrections where necessary
- Thorough understanding of the operation and control of sound, lighting and other production equipment

**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**
- Lead the team to ensure flawless delivery of all projects, providing cutting-edge technical solutions
- Set up and undertake comprehensive site inspections
- Responsible for finding and negotiating with the appropriate network of vendors and suppliers and hiring the right production team who will ensure the event is a success.
- Budget control/management to deliver to agreed financial targets
- Inspection to secure the venue and check all the equipment are running smoothly before the commencement of the event
- Collaborate with the team to determine all technical production requirements
- Maintain a reliable system for providing technical support for all programs and events
- Monitor construction of set items, including all mechanical staging elements, to ensure smooth running on site
- Monitor audio and visual production process
- Oversee all technical elements on site, proper lighting, including fit-up, get-out and management of on-site personnel
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing stage rigging and engineering as well in the installation of technical equipment
- Identify technical issues and provide solutions
- Manage the load-in/load-out of all technical production equipment & scenic elements
- Ensure quality standards are adhered to including all health and safety and fire regulations both internally and on site, to ensure the utmost safety of all personnel
- Coordinating and assigning tasks to the team
- Perform other duties as assigned and needed
- Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: From ﷼15,000.00 per month
