About the Position

We are seeking a Strategic Partnership Lead to join our team at the Islamic Corporation for Development. As a key member of our Partnerships Department, you will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic partnerships with MDBs, DFIs, IFIs, IOs, and other key development partners and private sector institutions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in the finance or banking sector, preferably in an investment bank, private equity firm, multilateral development bank, development finance institution, or international organization. A bachelor's degree in business management or any relevant discipline is required, while a master's degree is preferred.

You will also possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in financing and investment products, and mastery of Excel and advanced PowerPoint presentation skills. In addition, you should have a strong interest in Islamic finance and impact investing.

The role requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in at least two of the three official working languages (Arabic, English, and French) of which English is a must.

Key Accountabilities and Activities
  1. Plan and execute the sourcing of new partnership opportunities that will help us achieve our goals and better meet our strategic objectives.
  2. Prepare periodic partnerships activity progress reports and partners workshops.
  3. Develop innovative mechanisms for strengthening intra-group and external partnerships to enable additional co-financing volumes and co-investing activity.
