About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Manager to join our team at AKQA Media. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships, leading teams to deliver innovative work, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep and mutually beneficial client relationships, identifying opportunities, inspiring them, and understanding key business issues.
  • Business Development: Develop a deep understanding of the client's business environment and audiences, and successfully manage multiple suppliers, partners, and clients to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed revenue targets, and keep stakeholders informed of project progress at all times.
  • Team Leadership: Provide a viewpoint on team resources and configuration, and set out detailed month-by-month forecasts against which resources can be planned.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrate AKQA strategic thinking, formulate strategic propositions, and communicate them via client-ready decks.
Requirements
  • Account Management Experience: Proven experience in account management at a leading digital agency, professional services firm, or similar organization.
  • Client Relationship Building: Successful track record of building exceptional client relationships, with the necessary capability, presence, and professionalism to inspire confidence and credibility with clients and colleagues.
  • Business Strategy: Passion for innovation and business strategy, with the ability to build successful 'trusted advisor' relationships with key client contacts.
  • Communication Skills: Strong presentation skills, including written, visual, and verbal communication.
