About the Role:
Egis Saudi Engineering Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Investment & Business Development Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with our projects' objectives and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Business Development Strategy: Create and implement a business development strategy that aligns with our projects' objectives and market dynamics.
- Identify Investment Opportunities: Conduct in-depth market research and feasibility studies to identify potential investment opportunities in sustainable urban development projects.
- Cultivate Investor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to secure funding and support for project development.
- Due Diligence and Deal Structuring: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities and lead negotiations and structuring of investment deals.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on investment performance and portfolio management.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the investment development team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
Requirements:
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in investment management, financial analysis, or corporate finance, with a focus on infrastructure or real estate investments.
Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of investment principles, financial markets, and project finance structures. Proven track record of successfully sourcing, structuring, and closing investment deals. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex investment opportunities and risks. Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of identifying and pursuing profitable investment opportunities. Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques; familiarity with investment analysis software is a plus. Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
