Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our product engineering team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for setting strategy, priorities, and mission for the product engineering team, collaborating closely with cross-functional leaders to build the foundation for our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Lead, grow, and support a diverse team of full-stack engineers, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment where team members can thrive.
  2. Strategic Planning: Partner with product and engineering leadership to set strategy, priorities, and mission for teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  3. Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on technical leadership to your teams, ensuring a cohesive product experience and the right technical abstractions.
  4. Communication: Represent the technical details of work shipped by your team, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Research, Design, Data, and other engineering teams to define and build best-in-class product experiences and Tech strategies.
  6. Accountability: Establish trust within and across teams by creating accountability and fostering a positive work environment in partnership with other leaders in the organization.
  7. Career Development: Support the career growth and development of your team members in an engaged and creative engineering community.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  1. A minimum of 2-3+ years of experience successfully managing high-output engineering teams.
  2. Proven track record of building and shipping high-quality products, especially in ambiguous or innovative spaces.
  3. Genuine desire to build an equitable culture of belonging and impact within the engineering organization.
  4. Passion for fostering diversity and inclusion, promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.
