Job Title: Senior Project Controls Manager

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Controls Manager to lead our project controls efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing all phases of project controls, including planning, scheduling, and cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and direction to project teams on project control procedures and reporting/analytics.
  • Interface with clients and stakeholders to provide statistical reports and insights.
  • Develop and implement project controls procedures to support best practices for schedule, cost, earned value, risk, and change management processes.
  • Participate in the development of the master coding structure and interface with relevant departments and functions.
  • Assess the impact of pre/post construction changes on project objectives.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of a common data environment for project data management.
  • Train personnel, complete performance reviews, and provide personnel development for assigned employees.
  • Generate statistical reports for management on a recurring or one-of-a-kind basis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 15+ years of overall related experience.
  • Experience on projects across Civils, Infrastructure, Buildings, and Utilities, or equivalent.
  • Experience on mixed-use development projects.
  • Experience in PMO/PMC projects.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform in a management capacity.
  • Experience in FIDIC contracts.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) experience preferred, KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
  • Aviation experience is preferred.
  • Transportation experience on major programs.
  • Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.
  • Effective oral and written skills for client presentations, technical reporting, and internal/external correspondence.
  • Proficient PC skills, including proficiency in Project Controls Software, reporting, and Business Intelligence solutions/tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of the construction management at risk alternative delivery process and the functions inherent to construction management of large-scaled projects.
  • Ability to manage and encourage a team of construction management professionals.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the project team, client, and others.
