Senior Project Controls Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Controls Manager to join our team at Asterix Communications. As a key member of our Consult business, you will be responsible for managing and/or leading the implementation and delivery of a range of PMO and Project Controls to support commissions.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage PMO and Project Controls performance on assigned commissions.
- Create and design effective implementation of PMO and Project Controls framework/strategy on assigned commissions.
- Manage and direct Clients, consultants, contractors, project team on assigned commissions on all PMO and Project Controls matters.
- Partner with clients to meet expectations and build strong professional relationships.
- Provide expert advice to the Project team in the administration of the PMO and Project Controls process, with focus on cost, schedule, change, risk, and reporting, to achieve key objectives and the escalation of performance and management issues.
- Facilitate and drive periodic reporting and structured governance and performance meetings.
- Accountable for developing and managing Baseline (scope, time, cost, risk, assumptions) and subsequent delivery performance, change and contingency monitoring.
- Contribute to the development of Quantitative Analysis (cost and time).
- Work alongside the PMO Director and/or Project Manager to recognise actions, recognise opportunities and mitigate risks and issues.
- Coordinate activities/operations to ensure they are carried out in line with Mace Control Centre, Client requirements and prevailing legislation.
- Responsible for line management a team of PMO and Project Controls team members to deliver on assigned commissions.
- Provide comprehensive technical expertise to mentor and assist the personal and career development of team members of the PMO and Project Controls team.
- Manage the integration of Project Controls with PMO and Planning disciplines.
- Support the HUB PMO and Project Controls Director with resourcing and recruitment for the assigned commission.
- Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and shares responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
We are looking for a candidate with a relevant university degree (e.g. construction, engineering) or equivalent. Experience or equivalent supporting the delivery of a range of PMO and Project Controls services within the construction sector and/or management consultancy is essential.
