About the Position

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Business Development Manager to lead our van sales team in achieving exceptional sales performance. This is a dynamic role requiring exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and experience in managing large-scale sales operations.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Provide leadership and direction to the van sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results.
  2. Oversee and manage day-to-day sales operations, ensuring seamless coordination between field activities and strategic planning to achieve company objectives.
  3. Take full ownership of the sales team's performance by implementing effective management strategies, motivating the team, and driving operational excellence to exceed sales targets.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with Foodservice Key Accounts and major FMCG clients to promote the protein product range.
  5. Strategically manage sales to key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, meeting sales targets, and fostering long-term partnerships.
  6. Leverage data analytics to track team efficiency, identify opportunities for improvement, and adjust strategies to maximize results.
  7. Develop and implement sales strategies specific to the processed meat industry to enhance product reach and customer engagement.
  8. Maintain strong relationships with trade partners, leveraging trusted connections to enhance distribution and presence in the market.
  9. Implement best practices for Foodservice customers, ensuring that sales approaches align with customer Ways of Working (WoW) and Route to Market (RTM) preferences.
  10. Evaluate team performance, implement corrective measures where needed, and establish reward structures to maintain motivation and high performance.
