About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Manager to lead our Field Service Engineering Team in Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of best-in-class solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations while achieving safety, quality, schedule, and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Management: Responsible for the Profit and Loss (P&L) of the LSS Business in KSA, ensuring all financial metrics are in line with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  2. Growth Strategy: Work with Sales and Business Transformation leaders to formulate a growth strategy for the business.
  3. Field Service Engineering: Responsible for the Field Service Engineering and Workforce planning within the assigned geography/accounts.
  4. Team Management: Assemble high-performance teams and drive ongoing improvement in Skills & Effectiveness, including CEAT certifications.
  5. Performance Management: Ensure effective performance management processes and development of future management/engineering capabilities with attractive career plans.
  6. Project Execution: Drive planning, coordination, and execution of the Field Service Engineering within the regional organization.
  7. Resource Management: Ensure the availability of tools, equipment, and materials required to drive productivity in Field Service Teams.
  8. Succession Planning: Active contributor in Regional MRR and succession planning.
  9. Talent Acquisition: Recruit diverse, high-talent professionals to meet current and future Field Service Engineering needs.
  10. Functional Management: Responsible for functional management of local engineering teams to ensure business goals and objectives are met and key operations strategies are implemented.
  11. Staffing Planning: Plan, develop, and support staffing of key personnel for the Field Service organizations through a robust and effective Staffing and Inventory Optimization Process (SIOP).
  12. Change Management: Be a change agent, influencing, consulting, and leading efforts for sharing and standardizing best practices and processes.
  13. Process Optimization: Optimizing delivery of projects and engineering to achieve continuous improvement and attain productivity targets.
  14. Interface Management: Interface with the Engineering Excellence Organization for standard process and engineering tools requirements and share best practices.
  15. Resource Optimization: Responsible for maximizing Global Field Service Engineer utilization and providing support to drive efficiency and optimization of such resources.
  16. Skills Development: Support the development of new engineering skills identified in 5-year business plans and/or vertical market initiatives.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of Process Controls and Automation Engineering Industry Experience.
  • 3+ Years of P&L and people management experience.
  • Customer and Project management experience.
We Value
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar discipline. MBA will be a plus.
  • Professional experience in managing engineering teams and large programs.
  • Experienced in Profit and Cost Center management.
  • Strong management operating system that facilitates communication.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders and teams.
  • Ability to prioritize resources and implement project objectives.
  • Able to influence others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
