About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Programs Director to join our team. This role will be based in our client's office in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have offshore industry experience and construction management experience on mega projects. The Project Programs Director will be responsible for coordinating with other functional managers to ensure correct implementation of project construction specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution and Safety
    • Ensure safe project execution and compliance with industry standards.
    • Deliver projects to client satisfaction and contractual requirements.
  • Cost and Financial Management
    • Accountable for project cost performance and accounts receivable.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and company.
  • Project Leadership and Coordination
    • Manage and coordinate project leadership personnel.
  • Business Development and Proposal Support
    • Support business development and proposals for new offshore opportunities.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management
    • Negotiate changes with the client.
    • Responsible for all contracts in their program of works.
  • Best Practices and Knowledge Sharing
    • Use and share best practices among project managers.
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Plan project execution and revise the plan as necessary.
    • Assure adherence to the plan.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Keep the client and company advised of project status.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead the project management team and ensure successful project completion.

    • Abide by company business ethics.
  • Quality Management and Delivery
    • Ensure project delivery to quality management systems.
  • Workforce Planning and Resource Allocation
    • Forecast workload and ensure deployment of sufficient resources.

    • Resolve inter-project conflicts.
  • Team Management and Development
    • Manage all people assigned to offshore contracts effectively.
    • Appraise direct reports on a regular basis.
  • Company Values and Culture
    • Maintain and promote company values.
  • Lessons Learned and Improvement
    • Promote the capturing and implementation of lessons learned on projects.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the management of engineering and procurement projects.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore and experience of detailed design projects.
  • Strong financial and commercial understanding of projects.
  • Able to lead others in a challenging environment.
  • Able to make decisions and drive decision processes.
