About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at Perfect Vision. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring our compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Compliance Programs: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs to ensure our organization's adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  2. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  3. Policy Review and Analysis: Review and analyze existing policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure they are up-to-date and effective in preventing compliance risks.
  4. Employee Training and Guidance: Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters, including code of conduct, anti-corruption, and data privacy.
  5. Compliance Issue Investigation: Investigate and document compliance issues, incidents, and concerns, and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
  6. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with other departments, such as legal, finance, and IT, to ensure organization-wide compliance.
  7. Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices, and update the compliance program accordingly.
  8. Compliance Reporting: Prepare and submit regular compliance reports to management and relevant regulatory bodies.
  9. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain comprehensive documentation and records to demonstrate our organization's compliance efforts.
  10. Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities and external auditors on compliance-related matters.
  11. Process Improvement: Participate in the development and implementation of new processes, systems, and initiatives to enhance our organization's compliance posture.
  12. Business Support: Provide support and advice to business units on the impact of new laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  13. Compliance Metrics: Assist in the development and implementation of compliance-related key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in law, compliance, business, or a related field.
  2. Certification: Certification in Compliance or Risk Management (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional-International).
  3. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a compliance or risk management role, preferably in the private sector.
  4. Skills: Strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices in the region.
