Market Business Development Analyst

About the Role

The Market Business Development Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving strategic market initiatives through comprehensive analysis, professional proposal development, and executive-level reporting. This position works closely with internal Philips leadership and external stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights, develop compelling business cases, and ensure smooth execution of strategic initiatives.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Market Intelligence: Conduct thorough market research, gather competitive insights, and analyze business trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  2. Financial & Data Analysis: Develop financial models, pricing strategies, and revenue forecasts to assess market opportunities and business viability.
  3. Proposal & Presentation Development: Create high-quality, professional proposals tailored for external stakeholders, including partners, clients, and regulatory bodies. Develop impactful internal reports and presentations for Philips' senior leadership and steering committees, ensuring alignment with corporate branding and messaging.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to develop compelling business strategies. Support leadership with structured reporting and insights to guide decision-making.
  5. Strategic Planning & Execution: Assist in shaping and executing strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with Philips' growth objectives.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Identify best practices and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business development initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. 4-6 years of experience in business analysis, market research, or strategic planning, preferably in healthcare/medical technology.
  3. Strong proficiency in PowerPoint (or similar tools) with experience in designing professional presentations and proposals.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives.
  5. Experience in developing executive-level reports, business cases, and client-facing proposals.
  6. Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  7. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
