Job Summary:

The Head of Kitchen Equipment's Development is a pivotal role that drives innovation in kitchen processes, enhancing the dining experience and boosting efficiency. This position oversees the refinement and creation of kitchen operations, prioritizing quality and fostering creativity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop 3D drawings for kitchen equipment.
  • Assess the power requirements of each piece of equipment, including electric, gas, water, and other types.
  • Identify and address equipment with weak or poor output, high-power consumption, or other performance issues.
  • Search, improve, or replace equipment as needed, collaborating with the responsible chef.
  • Explore and develop new cooking technologies for the kitchen, working closely with the chef.
  • Attend food and beverage equipment fairs and exhibitions, and visit manufacturers to stay updated on industry developments.
  • Collaborate with the Lean Six Sigma Team to resolve any difficulties encountered.
  • Support the Kitchen Design team in the following areas:
    • Generate the layout of MEP (Mechanical, Electric, and Plumbing).
    • Coordinate with the construction department to clarify plans, avoid mistakes, delays, and product wastage.
    • Visit the construction site regularly to ensure proper installations and execution according to the layout provided.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
  • Significant experience in equipment development or manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks software.
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Experience in kitchen equipment manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment.
