Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Drn Fakeeh Hospital Jeddah. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our chemotherapy pharmacists in reviewing and preparing medications, ensuring compliance with safety and quality practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Medication Preparation and Review: Assist in reviewing and clarifying doctors' chemotherapeutic medication orders, prepare doses, and ensure compliance with safety and quality practices.
  2. Communication and Coordination: Communicate with ordering doctors in case of any ambiguity or concern, and ensure that all medications are properly labeled and dispensed.
  3. Medication Safety and Security: Follow all medication safety procedures when dispensing medications, maintain control and security of all drugs, and ensure that all medications are stored and handled properly.
  4. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that all pharmaceutical services at Drn Fakeeh Hospital Jeddah are aligned with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, and that all accreditation standards are met.
  5. Training and Development: Contribute to the training and induction orientation of newly hired pharmacists and students, and participate in continuing education programs to maintain expertise in pharmacy and required licensure.
  6. Reporting and Documentation: Report any medication errors or adverse reactions to senior pharmacists and enter them into the OVR system.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree of Pharmacy, Pharm D preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Language: Good command of oral and written Arabic and English communication.
  • License: Must have and maintain a current Saudi pharmacy license.
