Job Title: Mechanical Division Head

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Division Head will serve as a senior leader within Dmk Consultancy International, overseeing the Mechanical Division and ensuring the successful execution of mechanical-related projects. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Lead a team of Jr. Engineers and mechanical supervisors, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Quality Management: Collaborate with the Quality Management System (QMS) team to develop and implement quality procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain a comprehensive list of equipment available in the company, updating it regularly to ensure accuracy.
  • Procurement and Supply Chain: Evaluate specifications, terms, and conditions of delivery for new machinery, making recommendations to the Purchase Department.
  • Training and Development: Initiate training programs for Mechanical and Electrical staff, coordinating with the HRD Department to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor equipment operation, maintenance, and repair, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure safe working conditions for all plant and equipment, maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Plan and control spare parts and machinery inventory, ensuring optimal levels and reducing non-moving stock.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit regular reports to the MD/CEO, providing updates on project progress and highlighting areas of concern.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 15-20 years of experience in a reputable construction company.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to drive business growth.
