Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Hotel Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts, coordinating various activities, and ensuring seamless communication between departments and clients.

  1. Support Sales Efforts

You will assist our sales team in achieving monthly targets by providing administrative support and coordinating sales activities. This includes preparing and sending quotations to clients, following up on leads to support conversion rates, and collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient handling of sales, marketing, and event-related tasks.

Coordinate Site Inspections

You will manage and schedule site inspections for potential clients, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made. This includes conducting regular walk-throughs and site inspections to maintain familiarity with hotel facilities and operational standards.

Handle Customer Inquiries

You will handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing timely and accurate information. This includes responding to client requests, addressing concerns, and resolving issues efficiently.

Develop Sales Support Materials

You will assist in creating and updating sales support materials for the sales team, including preparing function sheets and coordinating pre-conference and post-event activities.

Monitor and Report on Sales Activities

You will monitor and report on sales activities, preparing regular reports for management. This includes tracking sales performance, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve sales efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of experience (2+ years) as a Sales Coordinator, Banqueting Coordinator, or in a similar administrative role within the hotel industry.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Knowledge of Opera property management system (essential).
