About the Role

We're looking for a skilled social media professional to lead our MENA region social media strategy, with a focus on building cohesive channel strategies to foster communities and deliver value to fans. You'll be responsible for formulating and implementing campaign initiatives related to our brand, partners, products, and events, while collaborating with and assisting both our local and global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to expand EFG's presence in the MENA region.
  • Drive regional campaigns for Esports World Cup, leveraging social media platforms to engage with Arabic-speaking audiences.
  • Build and maintain a strong social media presence, ensuring high acquisition and engagement of the community.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform content strategies and optimize results.
  • Collaborate with our creative team to produce locally relevant content and assets.
  • Communicate updates and reports efficiently to internal stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally with global teams to articulate product and brand vision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience in social media or content agency.
  • 6+ years of experience in social media or agency work, with a strong understanding of the MENA market landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in English and Arabic language, with excellent copywriting skills in both languages.
  • Well-versed in social media platforms, live streaming, digital content, viewer analytics, and audience segmentation.
  • Strong experience in community or community-related fields, preferably in gaming, with a track record of running social media campaigns.
