About the Role

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly experienced Associate Director to lead our project management team in delivering high-profile programmes in the sports and stadium sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling of projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining exceptional safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of project managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  3. Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and senior management, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  4. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance project delivery, quality, and safety.
  5. Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation of potential risks.
  6. Performance Measurement: Establish and maintain robust performance measurement techniques, including earned value management (EVM), to ensure project success.
Requirements
  1. Education: Degree qualification in a relevant field, such as project management, engineering, or construction.
  2. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in programme delivery, planning, and scheduling.
  3. Skills: Advanced skills in industry-standard software packages, such as Primavera P6, and experience in overseeing the development and improvement of processes and procedures.
  4. Professional Certifications: Membership in professional organizations, such as APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA, or equivalent.
