- Lead and manage a team of pastry chefs to achieve exceptional results and meet business objectives.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas, recipes, and presentation styles to enhance the dining experience.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor to optimize profitability.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to ensure seamless kitchen operations and achieve business goals.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of pastry chefs.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen and equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and techniques to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
- Hotel Management Diploma/Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of years of experience in a senior pastry chef role.
- Proven track record of success in leading a team and achieving business objectives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
