About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Housekeeping to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Madinah. As a key member of our opening team, you will be responsible for leading the overall operations of the housekeeping and laundry department, ensuring that our guest rooms, public areas, and employee areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional results.
  2. Quality and Standards: Ensure that Four Seasons standards are met through effective quality control measures, regular inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  3. Cost Control and Budgeting: Manage departmental budgets and costs, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  4. Guest Interactions: Lead guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for.
  5. Special Requests: Accommodate special requests from guests, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  6. Cleaning and Maintenance Programs: Establish and maintain cleaning and preventative maintenance programs to ensure the appearance and life of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in leading housekeeping teams and driving quality and cost improvements.
  • Education: A degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
  • Eligibility: Eligibility to work in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
