Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement pastry and dessert menus that meet the highest quality and presentation standards.
  • Manage the production and presentation of all pastry items for different outlets, ensuring consistency and excellence in every detail.
  • Collaborate with the executive chef and other kitchen staff to plan menus, maintain inventory levels, and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Train and supervise pastry staff, providing guidance and support to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients in pastry production, driving innovation and excellence in our pastry department.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Head Pastry Chef in a high-volume kitchen setting, with a strong track record of success.
  • Degree or certification in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts, with a deep understanding of pastry and dessert techniques, ingredients, and presentation methods.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in pastry production, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role, and a proven ability to manage inventory, control costs, and develop menus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Centralized Kitchen or large-scale production facility, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations and management.
  • Track record of creating innovative pastry designs and recipes, with a passion for staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
