Pre-Sales Network Engineer for Cisco Systems

Job Summary
The Solutions Engineer will partner with our Account Managers in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco product solutions, setting up demonstrations, and explaining features and benefits to customers. This individual will design and configure products to meet specific customer needs, driving customer digital transformation. This role requires a customer-focused technical sales professional who ensures that relevant technical information and guidance is provided to the customer, focusing on customer success and aligned outcomes.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a thorough understanding of Service Provider Network Architecture and expert-level knowledge in Data Center technologies. You should have 5+ years of shown success in designing end-to-end large complex networks to meet Service Providers' Data Center and security requirements. Additionally, you should have a track record in Cisco networking solutions, including LAN, WiFi, and SD-WAN, and expertise in at least one of our key technical areas: Cloud/AI, virtualization, Collaboration, or Security. In-depth knowledge of AI Data Center products like Nexus, ACI, UCS, GPU, Storage, or Cisco Competitor Products is also required. Thorough expertise with protocols like VOQ, VDC, VPC, FABRIC PATH, VXLAN, OTV, SAN, VSA; FCIP, FCOE, N1000V, ROCv2 is essential. Software programming skills and its usage with Cisco APIs are also necessary. Knowledge and understanding of Software Automation evolution, Micro-Services architecture, and Container networking are highly valued. Strong IT infrastructure skill set including Storage Area Networks, Server technologies, Virtualization, Networking, Enterprise Applications, Systems Management, Windows Server, and Linux operating system expertise are required. Expertise in security technologies, digital certificates, X.509, IPSec, TLS, SSL, as well as security products like ISE, FirePower, AMP, SourceFire, StealthWatch, and ASAs are also necessary. Knowledge of Cisco Digital Network Architecture and SD Access is highly valued. Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills in English are required. Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member, demonstrate technical knowledge and consultative skills to customer executives, and solve problems quickly are essential.
