Role Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Jobs for Humanity, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic recruitment plans to attract and retain top talent. Your expertise will be essential in sourcing high-quality candidates, providing exceptional customer service to both internal stakeholders and external candidates, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute quarterly and annual hiring plans to meet business objectives, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Create and publish job ads in various online platforms to attract top talent, leveraging keywords and compelling descriptions
  • Navigate professional networks on social media and attend industry events to identify potential hires and build relationships
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to establish qualification criteria for future employees, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Screen resumes and applications, conducting initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates, utilizing behavioral interview techniques
  • Interview candidates in-person for a wide range of roles, from junior to executive positions, assessing cultural fit and technical skills
  • Analyze and track key hiring metrics, including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire, making data-driven recommendations for improvement
  • Design, distribute, and measure the results of candidate experience surveys, utilizing feedback to inform recruitment strategies
  • Provide training and guidance to hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods, ensuring consistency and fairness
  • Organize and participate in job fairs to promote our brand and attract top talent, fostering relationships with candidates and partners
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future openings, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations

Requirements

  • Proven track record in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field, with a focus on innovative strategies and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Proficiency in HR systems and tools, including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and reporting software
