About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and leading a high-performing sales team.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the General Manager and Regional Director of Sales & Marketing to develop a marketing plan that targets key market segments.
- Monitoring and reviewing sales production, adjusting activities and priorities to achieve goals.
- Establishing account qualification criteria and using market research to identify and prioritize accounts.
- Maintaining responsibility for selected key accounts.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Proven sales experience in the hospitality industry with knowledge of the Saudi Arabia market.
- Prior experience gained from working in hotel/serviced apartment market.
- Demonstrated ability to manage own and others' tasks through to conclusion.
- Resourceful and able to think creatively.
- Literacy in software applications, preferably in travel and hospitality operating software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage a range of activities simultaneously.
- Ability to drive for results and motivate others to achieve their potential.
- Competency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hotel property management systems (HIS or similar).
- High proficiency in English language oral and written skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and maintain composure at all times.
