  • Keeping up with the latest industry developments, including market positioning of corporate competitors
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key managers, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of Tharwah's solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organization.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities.
  • Monitor KPIs to measure success and identify areas of improvement.
  • Manage multiple key accounts at the same time.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Collect and analyse data concerning consumer behaviour to understand and forecast changing needs.
Desired candidate profile


• Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a relevant field.
4 – 7 years of proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role.
Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
Client Relationship Management
Account Oversight: Manage a portfolio of key clients, ensuring that all their needs are met and that they receive excellent customer service. Develop strong, trusting relationships with senior stakeholders within client organizations.
Client Retention: Focus on long-term retention strategies by anticipating client needs, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring continuous value delivery.
Customer Satisfaction: Proactively identify client pain points or challenges and collaborate with internal teams to provide tailored solutions, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.
Strategic Account Planning
Account Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic account plans, identifying opportunities for growth and new business within existing accounts.
Business Growth: Work to expand the business within key accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, presenting new solutions, and aligning services with the client's evolving needs.
Forecasting and Target Setting: Set sales targets for key accounts and work to meet or exceed revenue goals by identifying opportunities and developing action plans to achieve those targets.
Sales Leadership and Collaboration
Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team and other departments (e.g., marketing, product, customer service) to develop proposals, presentations, and solutions tailored to specific key accounts.
Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations with key clients, ensuring that contracts and agreements are aligned with the company's goals and client expectations. Oversee contract renewals and manage any escalations related to pricing, terms, or scope.
