Qiddiya Investment Company is redefining the entertainment and leisure landscape in Saudi Arabia, and we are seeking a skilled and dynamic professional to join our team as a Senior Specialist - Contracts Management. In this role, you will be integral in overseeing the management of contracts across various projects, ensuring compliance, enhancing operational efficiency, and minimizing risks.

Responsibilities

Interpret construction-related terminology and assess contract templates to ensure adherence to relevant standards and regulations
Evaluate RFP packages and contract provisions to identify and address potential risks
Effectively communicate with stakeholders to summarize contract actions and clarify responsibilities
Perform financial due diligence on contractors and conduct thorough analyses of award proposals
Develop strategies for negotiation and document outcomes from meetings for future reference
Reduce the company's exposure in non-standard agreements while ensuring compliance with organizational policies
Offer insights and recommendations for the Bid Review Program (BRP) to improve competitiveness in proposals
Analyze data and create regular reports on contract performance metrics to support informed decision-making
Contract Drafting and Negotiation
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for various business functions, including vendor agreements, customer contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and partnership agreements.
Ensure that all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Work closely with internal teams to understand business requirements and ensure that contracts accurately reflect those needs and objectives.
Negotiate terms with vendors, clients, and third-party partners, ensuring favorable terms for the organization.
Contract Review and Approval
Review contracts to ensure that terms and conditions are fair, balanced, and in the best interest of the organization.
Verify that contracts meet all legal and regulatory requirements and align with organizational goals.
Provide recommendations for changes or amendments to ensure the contract meets the business's objectives while minimizing risk.
Coordinate with internal legal counsel, finance, procurement, and other departments to secure necessary approvals before finalizing contracts.

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience in contract management, preferably in the construction industry
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and regulatory requirements related to contracts and agreements.
Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable contract terms and resolve disputes effectively.
Attention to Detail: Ability to review and draft contracts with a high level of precision, ensuring all terms and conditions are clear, accurate, and enforceable.
Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with contract terms and execution.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex contract terms and explain legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining organization and focus on priorities.
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Problem-Solving: Capability to address and resolve issues that arise during the contract lifecycle, from negotiations to performance monitoring.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time to meet deadlines and handle multiple contracts concurrently.
