Essential Skills:

- Deep Understanding of Moodle: Comprehensive knowledge of the system's architecture,

programming languages used (PHP, SQL), user interface customization, and management of activities

and resources.
- Strong Programming Skills: Proficiency in PHP and SQL, as well as experience with HTML, CSS,

and JavaScript for front-end customization.
- Database Understanding: Solid knowledge of databases, especially MySQL, data management,

and complex queries.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop innovative

solutions.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to assess educational needs and design appropriate solutions.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with the development team and end-users.
- Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.

Required Experience:

- Moodle Development and Customization: Experience in creating courses, managing users,

customizing activities and integrating Moodle with other systems.
- Install, configure, and regularly update the Moodle system
- Plugin Development: Ability to develop custom plugins to meet specific needs.
- User Interface Design: Ability to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Project Management: Ability to manage projects from start to finish, including requirements

gathering, planning, implementation, and testing.

Preferred Certifications (Optional):

- Moodle Certified Developer: This certification confirms in-depth knowledge of Moodle.
- Certifications in Programming Languages: Such as PHP and SQL.
- Database Administration Certifications: Such as MySQL.

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication skills.
- English speaking and writing skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities of a Senior Moodle Developer:

- Development and Customization: Developing and customizing the Moodle platform to meet user

requirements.
- Project Management: Managing Moodle development projects from start to finish.
- Troubleshooting: Iidentifyingand resolving technical issues.
- Training and Support: Training users on how to use the platform and providing technical

support.
