3. RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
3.1. Primary Functions
- Ensuring timely & exhaustive booking of all the entries with respect to receipts,
expenses, accruals, petty cash, Journal entries, bank transactions etc.
- Maintaining the Bank accounts and reconciliations, paying off the taxes on time, WHT
& VAT.
- Ensuring AP management, timely supplier invoice booking, payments & SOA
reconciliation.
- FA management & Control viz ensuring up-to-date FA register.
- AR balances and ageing monitoring and corresponding provision for risks.
- Employee earnings and deductions review
- Guiding, Monitoring and Controlling the accounting activities of the different
entities/regions provided
- Supporting and ensuring the instructions issued by the Chief Accountant / Finance
Controller.
- Monthly closing of accounts & ensuring GL numbers reconciled and under proper
control.
- Compliance to legal requirements, internal audit requirement & closure of audit
points.
- Statutory compliances including direct and indirect tax & all Audit related matters &
Tax assessments.
- Yearly budget preparation and quarterly forecasting
- Be a team player in SSC KSA & support to SSC team in India in reports, MIS etc.
