**Job Summary**:
As a Maintenance Supervisor in the wood industry, you will oversee the maintenance operations of equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and safety. Your responsibilities include leading a team of maintenance technicians, implementing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Assign tasks, schedule work shifts, and prioritize maintenance activities based on production schedules, equipment criticality, and urgency.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of maintenance staff.
- **Preventive Maintenance**:

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment, machinery, and facilities, including regular inspections, lubrication, and replacement of parts.
- Establish maintenance schedules, checklists, and procedures to ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance tasks and compliance with maintenance standards.
- **Equipment Troubleshooting**:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, and performance issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians and external vendors to expedite repairs, procure replacement parts, and restore equipment to operational condition.
- **Repair Coordination**:

- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with production teams, scheduling downtime, and ensuring mínimal disruption to production schedules.
- Monitor progress of maintenance work orders, track completion status, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for maintenance staff and other employees.
- Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks and hazards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental regulations, and industry standards related to equipment maintenance and operation.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies needed for maintenance activities, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Implement inventory control measures, such as cycle counts, stock rotation, and reorder points, to optimize inventory management and reduce downtime.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Prepare maintenance reports, performance metrics, and analysis to track equipment reliability, downtime, and maintenance costs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

**Salary**: ﷼3,000.00 - ﷼5,000.00 per month
