**MISSION**

**YOUR JOB**
- To manage and control execution of the Infrastructure business operations in the Middle East.
- Estimation of efforts for Infrastructure tenders in the Middle East to enable most competitive bidding by sales while ensuring profitability during execution.
- Technical support to Sales and Business Development.
- Review of projects under operation and ensure profitability and operating margins of project under execution - along with Project Finance Controller - for entire Middle East region
- Lead the Infrastructure technical team and provide technical support to strengthen the team.
- Control and management of design and engineering resources and efforts to meet target cost as well as target timeline.
- Coordination with various disciplines as well as clients. Attending technical meetings with stakeholders, clients and approving authorities for design approval - for critical design review meetings to support the technical team.
- Attending various seminars organized by clients and stakeholders and represent Tractebel in those seminars.
- Overview the site activities and perform Managerial QHSE Audits.
- Manage Contractual issues, Variation Orders, Delay Penalties, Extra Claims for ongoing projects - with support from Legal and Contracts team.
- Liaison with Business Line for Product Review and project review.
- Liaison with other Business entities - for collaboration and technical support in case competency and/or resource is not available in Middle East entity.
- Appraisals and leave approvals of Infrastructure employees.
- Resource and Work-load management for effective utilization of resources.
- Leading the Infrastructure team to support any relevant work related to the Energy Business Line.

- District Cooling, street lighting
- ESIA, urban resilience

Master Planning, Basic Design / Conceptual Design, FEED, Pre-bid and Proposal Engineering, PMO, PMC, Owner’s Engineering, Review Engineering, Technical Advisory, Feasibility studies, Technical Due Diligence, Detail Design and Engineering
Leading a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and designers.
Conversant with international codes and standards.
Competence in Energy products - Solar Power, Power Storage, Power Transmission & Distribution.

**YOUR EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES**
- 20 years of experience in Design, Engineering and Project Management ideally with an Engineering Consultancy Company or alternatively with an EPC Company or Developer.
- 10 years as Principle or Lead engineer position.
- 5 years as Engineering Manager or Product Manager.
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with competence and experience in Power and Energy.
- 5 years KSA / GCC experience.
- An understanding of a design consultants/owners’ engineer/lenders technical advisor’s position on a project and how to sell this to certain types of clients.
- Strong personality & ability to get your opinions across.
- Experience with EPC’s / OEM’s / International Engineering Consultants for execution of projects.
- Able to communicate fluently in English.
- In depth knowledge in the field of Infrastructure.
