**About the job Business Developer - Energy Project**:
**I. Job Description**
- The Business developer is responsible for identification, initial approach and continuous follow up of project opportunities in the Middle East markets, focused on Saudi Arabia (e.g. NEOM) and Oman.
- The attention shall be on business in all low-carbon technologies, processes and assets. The fields of interest are energy, sustainability, standardization, technical advisory and in particular technologies with regard to green gases as hydrogen, ammonia, syn
- fuels.
- The Business Developer follows the divisional and BU strategies of Division Industry but also takes on TIC opportunities out of all portfolio.
- He aligns his activities continuously with the COO of Division Industry.
- He provides continuous support in the initiation and acquisition phase with major customers incl. governments.
- The present priority markets are Saudi Arabia and Oman, which should be targeted due to the forced decarbonisation strategies and thus, promising market prospects.
- The goal is to maximize the business in those countries, especially covering the complete project life cycle by value add services.
**II**. **Main tasks**
- Initiation, acquisition, follow up of service and project opportunities with customers, governments in Middle East
- Continuous support involved in customer bids and negotiations
- Acting as local contact for any customer enquiry that requires short-notice and on-site activities
- Continuous support for the management of Division Industry Service within the ME subregion.
**III**. **Requirements**
- Professional experience in international project acquisitions
- Experience with customers and governments in Saudi Arabia, Oman and UAE is an advantage
